Parking
Civic West carpark is a short walk from the City Campus and offers paid daily parking. If you are a staff member or student, you can access discounted parking ($10 per day) through a license agreement with Hunter Parking and Storage. You will need your student/staff ID to swipe entry into the carpark for the discount to apply.
To gain access to Civic West parking station, staff and students need access added to their university ID card prior to going into the parking station or discounted rates won’t be applied.
NUspace Shuttle
The NUspace shuttle is a free inter-campus service that runs Monday to Friday from 7:10am – 10:15pm between Callaghan and Newcastle City campuses. The shuttle services NUspace and the surrounding buildings before travelling past the Q building and stopping at Marketown before making its' way back to Callaghan.
The shuttle service runs during semester on a 30-minute frequency. During semester break the shuttle will change to an hourly service. Download the myUni app to keep an eye on where the shuttle is in real time!
